Exhibition Life 2020 (also known and abbreviated as “XBL” for short, or “XBL 2020”) is a mixtape released on 19th 2020 by Kenyan-born and Zurich-based Rap artist Ryler Smith & his frequent collaborative producer Mikey containing 15 songs.

All 15 tracks are written, performed, mixed and mastered by Ryler Smith and all instrumentals are executively produced by Mikey.

The second single off the mixtape, “CLIENTEL” features a dark, abstract moody music video filmed by Anil Sarikaya.

“Exhibition Life”, was released globally on all digital platforms everywhere, but is also available for free listening on youtube and soundcloud.

The production quality of the tape’s final master is a rough, flat but spacious sound within a heavy monofied mix with subtle a stereo field. The entire project was recorded, mixed and mastered in a 1 room bedroom apartment in Zurich in 2019.

The cover art of the mixtape is a microscopic photograph by liberal scientist simonsublime from the incredible blog “Exploring The Invisible”

It is the third project released in 2020 by Ryler Smith, and the fourth release in collaboration with fellow producer Mikey since their 2018 released sequel mixtape “Sliin' Out 2”.
